why am i on the computer?
i'm not even sure why i'm here. i have a headache and its been quite a day.
we were going to get a dining room table but apparently no furniture store wants our business. the sales people have been less than expected and we are still sitting here sans dining room table. they just werent willing to work with us and give us what i want.
wow. its been a while since i've been here. been really busy but that season is coming to an end. friday night we went to wurstfest, the huge german festival here in new braunfels devoted to sausage and beer. oh, theres music and rides too. it is free on the first night before 7pm so i took my girl scout troop over to see the sights and goof off. they had fun. then i went back with my parents and ate and sat and listened to german music. then my daughters and i dances the night away in wursthall. my dad even got up with us to do the chicken dance. wo-hoo!
sat morning i had some time to do cleaning and baking to get ready for the party sat night. then feed the kids and pile in the car for the final soccor game of the season. after the game we went to crocodile gap to celebrate. we kicked soccor balls in the soccor cages and hit balls in the batting cages and ate pizza. yeah. then rush back home to ice the brownies to look like dominoes and off to the party. i co-hosted a jewelry show with my mom for my business. it was a lot of fun. the new jewelry we are selling is hot stuff. i love it. and we made a lot of money at the party!!
sunday morning i always go to church when i can. then race home to get my daughter changed into the drindle dress and to rush of to wurstfest for her to dance. guess what. keys locked in th car. i always park in my garage attatched to my house. so i left my purse on the seat to run in and change. well my eldest decides to lock the car, which she never does, when she gets out. i call mr poni in hysterics. turns out we dont have an extra key. so, now i am in tears and so is my daughter. we are angry and frustrated. grandma and grandpa race over to pick us up as daddy races home with his key to the van. my mom and i take the dancer to the show as mr poni arrives and he and grandpa bring everything else which i had already packed in the van. the stroller, my purse, my money for the fair, my free ticket since she was preforming, the video camera, the diaper bag, everything i had put in the van before church so that we only had to run home and change her. in the end we were hurried and rushed but we all made it there on time to see her dance. mr poni even got to since he got out of work to hurry home with his key. we should get a spare made. we only have on key to his jeep. we lived up the rest of sunday at the festival, eating drinking, dancing and riding carnival rides. it is a 10 day festival so we plan to bring my father in law there on wed when he comes. three times in one year? you can never eat too much sausage. and i love watching the drunk people dance around with crazy booby hats and chicken hats on!
today was dedicated onece again to the quest to buy our new table, we know exactly the one we want. but it was alas unsuccessful. i guess we dont really need it right now as much as we thought. i am a big believer in divine intervention for those of you who didnt know. i firmly believe when something doesnt go as you planned it wasnt meant to happen and that god has something better planned. so now i just wait and be patient for the something better.
