GS newletter est fine!
yah! now i can just sit back, relax and.. who am i kidding. i took those words out of my dictionary long ago. instead i hit the grocery store tonight. just me and jaden. left mr poni at home with the girls (yes he's still very sick, but they were taking a bath. i figure he could handle bedtime) i told him i'd be back in a few days. he laughed. too bad 'cause i was seriuos. those girls drove me nuts today while i was on the computer. turns out as any good kids would, they totally take advantage of me. (why not, i knew i could get away with stuff when my mom was around). mr poni had a rare advantage today. he was home but totally not involved. he dozed and read his book in bed all day. he noticed the girls behavior was substancially worse with just be being in charge. the girls bickered (i thought they just always did this now, a stage or so) and just generally misbehaved. whe ni was gone to the store he said they got along perfectly and played nicely and minded, no sooner had i walked in carrying groceries the wineing and crying and fighting started back up. mr poni, lying sick on the couch, called the girls over for a five minute lecture on taking advantage of mom, and reminded them what it was like when he stayed home and the punishment involved. i appreciate the support. we'll just have to see if it did any good.

I just (shamefully) saw an episode of Nanny 911 that had a similar situation-- I would tell you the solution, but Mr. poni must have already known, since he lectured the kids about listening to you (the dad on tv just punished the kids himself without trying to support his wife-- he was kinda scummy). Good thing your hubby isn't scummy! :)
