so here i am.
and i am listening to my son screaming in his crib. time change- yuck. it is nap time and he doesnt want to nap. he'll get the hang of it, soon.
halloween, tonight. Happy Halloween every one. what is everyone dressing up like?
having three kids we have attended several fall parties and so i have had the opportunity to dress several ways. i went as a husker fan the first time. that was supposed to be my costume this year but my nebraska shirt is dirty and everytime i wear it people feel obligated to stop me and tell me how bad they have done this year. meh.
then i have my old stand bye of my red devil horns and cape. right now i am wearing the halloween shirt i painted with my oldest daughter two years ago.
sounds like we will be hitting several neighborhoods tonight. my three year old has a friend in the neighbor hood that i want to go around with. they're young so we're thinking of going at 5:30. then my oldest has her best friend she hast to go with. i talked to her mom and we'll try to meet them at 6:15. then we have to hit grandma's house, or we'll never live that one down. thats a lot of trick or treating. oh, well its fun. of course this is all pending it doesnt rain as it is predicted to. that would bite. either way i have no chance of getting my kids in bed on time tonight. ah well. guess we'll stay up watching movies or something.
yesenia gammed with us wed. night! so awesome! and she plans to come back wed night. i hope we can really have a fun sesion this time. last time kyle and i were in goofy moods so the 2 producitve hours we had werent very productive we kept cracking jokes. totally blew the mood. but yesenia loves monty python too! she saw my entire flying circus collection and asked to borrow some some time! neat.
quiet? ahhhh. bith kids have fallen asleep.
should i get dressed up now?
belinda is picking her kids up in her witch costume today from school. she said she'll lean out the window and call for the little children to come to her. she totally loves halloween. she will sit on her dark porch tonight and scare the crap out of all the kids. me?...you all know i'm a lot n=more friendly than that. i think she is really neat for doing that, keeps things fun, but not anything i would ever do. even if i tried i'm not that scary anyway. still.. what should i dress up as. i have become a queen of throwing together costumes with waht you have. my oldest has dressed up this year already as a black cat(her real costume supposidly), a cheer leader, a horse veterinarian (looks like a cowgirl, but intends to do strange things to the horses besides riding them, its what she wants to be when she grows up. that was what they were to wear to school today), and juliette. all in one year mind you. we like dressing up at my house its fun! especially when i get to do the face painting! fun stuff!
i should probably cook dinner as soon as we get home at 4. then we'll need to get dressed in order to make it to megans house by 5:30. i hope we can make it around our place in half an hour. even if we dont i suppose we should leave anyway to meet belindas kids at 6:15. if not they would either have to loose preciuos time waiting on us or they would leave and we would never find them.
makes me kinda wish mr poni was home tonight instead of at work. in the past he worked at the mall on halloween, so that was cool we could work the mall and see him too.
no malls in new braunfels anyway.
if it rains we'll have to go to one of the many celebrations the churches here are putting on. 3 churches are having big parties tonight. but i dont plan to go unless it rains cuz i have already done the party thing this year. we just want to do the door to door stuff.
pamela and i used to have awesome halloweens. we would go all over her neighborhood and do all sorts of silly routins and songa nd dance bits for candy. we were big kids mind you we were like fourteen and up when we did this, but we didnt care, we were having fun and getting candy!!! then the real fun came when we got back to her house and the trading began. ahh, good times.
good times.
i hope you have a good time tonight doing whatever you are going to do.

pamela- wasnt that last halloween greg, not mr poni? i dont remember one where mr poni came with us but i remember you being a green nymph, i was a witch, greg and gomer were men in black with black and white faces, right? oh, and natalie was a bride to the oh so ironic sensitivites of gomer. that was a fun night.

wow! i dont remember that. you'll really have to show me the video (i've never seen it).
...checked with mr poni. he was never in dallas for halloween. he only went once to dallas. he was miserable. and he remembers eating fudge downtown with really small knifes. and then we met my ex-boyfriend, oscar. then i remembered running through the alternating fountain downtown, getting soaked and then freezing my nipples. yeah- not the best of visits.
