great titles

i just realized how eloquent all my entry titles are. (not) oops, i ended in a preposition, too. i'm all around a fantastic writer when you include my typos. i hope i am graded on content solely.

a few days ago my daily dictonary word of the day was tintinabulation. i love it. i actually had forgotten that word existed, thought i had never heard of it then i read the example and it was an exerpt from poe's peom 'bells'. i practically had that peom memorized in eighth grade.. guess i had heard that word before. its a great word isnt it? so pompus, i mean it takes half a miniute just to say that word.. and its meaning is not that grandeous: the tinkling of bells. i mean its just not a word you can use everyday. but it sounds great. tintinabulation. very gratifying to say, it is.

    Fishing for comments, are you?

I had that word last week in my email word-of-the-day thing. And I finished a book last week in which one of the characters names was Tintinablum (my spelling of it might be slightly off, and the book's upstairs and I don't feel like going up to get it, but I know the spelling was pretty close to that).

His name did not really describe a personality characteristic.
