our project

i would also like to share the project that mr poni and i undertook in our back yard. it all started with a simple trip to home depot to purchase some winterizer for our grass.......
after talking to the sales asscoiate we learned that the reason we had a large circle of dead grass under this particular tree is that the tree is taking all the moisture and nutrients so the grass is dying. it also turns out we have a pecan tree. so he said we needed to find the drip edge of the tree and create a circle of mulch. so the next thing we knew we were digging a trench and laying down bags of sand. it was fun. very intense hard work, but fun and we managed to complete it during mr poni's 2 days off. wow. i'm happy with it. it really makes the tree look quite nice as well.



okay. i get to show off too. how could i post more pictures and not show off how incredibly cute my son is? it would have been a disservice to you all. isnt he such a doll!? love him to death.
