brain......fried.

is this tuesday? no its monday. wow, this week my days are all screwed up. yeah, tahnksgiving on thurs!my husband is off now unitl fri morn! i was planning on doing very early morning shopping to catch some great deals but unfortunatly this months paycheck will not be good, almost non existant, so i cant even shop at those cheap prices. WE have so much stuff anyway here. i dont really need anything. my kids have more than enough toys, believe me. we are good. we have a nice home and a fantastic car, and a running other car...we're set. i was all geared up for shopping the sales, so as much as i say this and really mean it, i find i have to keep chanting it. it christmas time, that means shopping and lots of presents under the table. no, its not supposed to mean that, but that i admit is one of the few peices of materialism that has been ingrained in me. i dont need anything! my husnabds happiness is mpre important. this is all hush, hush, he hates it when i mention finances to anyone, but his sales this month are the pits. and he is 100% commision and we are a one income family, his income. so when his sales suck he really stresses himself out and the more stressed he is the worse he sells. and when he's not happy, i'm not happy and when i'm not happy our kids are insane! so, unhappy mr poni= miserable household. so i dont need to buy anything! i mean it, i dont want him to be more stressed and if i start bringing presents home he'll worry. thats no good.
i had a girl scout leaders meeting tonight. thanks for the support- i feel better about the girls that left my troop now. i am hard at work on a news letter for my parents again. i'm half way done and got really tired so i'll finish it and send it tomorrow.
i'm looking forward to thanksgiving. we were able to pick up a new table (no payments for 18 months) and now have a decent sized table with 8 chairs!! yeah, we'll have enough room for our thanksgiving day meal, and enough room for my family to eat comfortably at the table. there will be six of us including mrs. k. my parents went to missouri to visit my brothers and their families. i wish i could see them too, i havent seen my nephews yet (both of my brothers have sons my son's age) and cant wait to, but i have my commitments to my gs troop. they sound like they are having alot of fun.
my oldest daughter told her nana today that she couldnt wait for her to get an apartment and move out! she said nana stresses everyone out. dad yells more and mom is unhappy. the things children say. they are very perceptive arent they. i could have done with out her saying that to nana, though. yes, things have been rough, we knew it wouldnt be easy, but i am still really glad she is here.
overall- i am very happy right now. thanks to al of you i fell reconnected to good friends (remember how bad i felt a few weeks ago), and i feel i have many friends here too, true not any really close ones but close friends take time.
i'll be having a great thanksgiving day, i hope you will too!

I'm glad to find that Jade has nerves much like mine, and that just like mine nana gets one them. I owe that kid a cookie and a hug.

it's not that I don't like the lady, it's just her mannerisms seem to cut my annoyance chord in a hasty manner. p.s.-> i'm not a nice person. (no really.)

    ohh, well of course.
no worries. she fully intends to cut right to the core. those mannerisms have been specially developed to do so. but we love her for it! :)
ask any omaha'n and they can vouch that that is a finely tunned skill she has perfected over the years! :)
