ugh
reading was good. very good. i am enjoying my book. mr poni and i had a very do nothing sort of day. we didnt get much of anything done but we enjoyed it. he has to go to work tomorrow. thats just not right.
yesterday we picked up our daughter from school for lunch. we grabbed subway sandwhiches and took our kids to the park for a small picnic. we had a blast and took twice as long as whe had for lunch. half an hour lunch, blah. today i grabbed mcdonalds and ate with her in the cafeteria. it was wild. i enjoy going there and sitting at the table with her friends b/c i get to meet them and i know who she is talking about when she does. we talked about what they are dressing up as for halloween and they asked me super hard math problems for me to do in my head. they are working so hard bless their souls to memorize as many addition and subtraction problems as they can. preparing for the end of year standardize tests. they take practice tests at school they have 3 minutes to solve 100 problems of addition/subtraction. that sucks. poor kids. we have a long way to go. my daughter got 52/100 on the addition side and 30/100 on the subtraction side. you never know though wehn some crazed gun man will hold a gun to your head and threaten to shoot unless you start spewing out math facts in 3 minutes or less. at least they'll be prepared.
we gamed last night. it was a blast. our friend marissa is here from out of town and she brought her fiance it was his first time. he played a fighter and did very well. his first attack roll ever and he rolled a 20! she gets married to him on sat. they are in town for the wedding then (sigh) they go back. i'm looking forward to the reception on sat though.
i feel tired.
dont want to go to sleep though.
have girlscouts tomorrow night. i need to finish cutting out all those butterfly wings for thier costumes. we make them at the meeting tomorrow. belinda is coming over in the am to help.
okay, good night.
