birthday and art stuff
so wednesday was my birthday, the 27th. and i turned 27! only happens once.
my husband planned a celebration of getting together with my friends and tubing the river in town with them and him while his mom watched the kids. it was fun.
i had a small party tuesday night with some of my friends, a mary kay pedicure party. i recieved some beautiful gifts.
my mom signed me up for an oil painting class for my birthday. last night was the first class.
and here is my painting.
and here is my most recently finished portrait.its graphite and colored pencil.

Lovely pictures. I certainly hope you painting instructor starts to inspire you a little more. She sounds like soggy pants. You're doing a wonderful job despite her militant german behavior. Good luck with the rest!
