my day today - it was good

so it really was a great day today. it was in the upper 80's when we went to the park but it got up to 103 during the day according to my car thermometer.

here is the start of the day, when my son thought he should do the driving! :)











then we drove to the park. the train only runs on the weekends but we played on it anyway.






then truffle got on the train too!




next we strolled over to the playground.

then we moved over to the river to feed the ducks! there are a bunch of them here now.










truffle watched. she wanted to get in the water with them. we didnt let her.

then my little girl decides to feed the really cute squirrel that came up behind us.







next it was over to the wading area in the river. i stripped down my kids to their underwear and diaper. i rolled up my jeans too but couldnt get them high enough that i could get in with out dousing the jeans so i sat on the edge of the water dangeling my feet and taking my last couple pictures.





we tossed our puppy in the river too and remarked on how neat it is that dogs instinctually know how to swim. then we she got out she was soo cold so mr poni took her right to the car and bundled her in a blanket. she rode home wrapped like a baby in my daughter's lap.

and all that before lunch (which was sonic). then i went to go get my hair done. i got my eye brows done too. the stylest told me about permanant dying my eyebrows. sounded neat and it was only 15$ so i did it. it will last a while, she said. i think it looks good. my blond eyebrows are normally pretty light and i darken them with an eyebrow pencil daily, even when i wear no other make up.





ok i've been a long time at this and its time for soccer practice.
